I was under the impression the non B was issued by a Thai consulate (outside Thailand of course) on production of proof of work being offered which involves lots of documents. What do you mean by tourist visa? I think you need Non O to convert. Things may have changed over the last few days!

If I was 30 I'd be gainfully employed but that may be an old fashioned idea. When I was 30 I had my brains above the waistline and that's how I survive here - I earned a fat pension. Since then my brains have meandered south! These young uns should get real.
