to be honest I wouldn’t risk it! It’s a lot of expenses if one of your child test positive. All of you will be quarantined. With false positive insurance will not pay so it’s all out of pocket. This happened to me friend and his family. He tested positive once he was at the hospital it was false positive insurance wouldn’t pay plus His whole family had to be in a hospital. Cost over $15,000. No way I would take that chance . I would wait 60 days to be safe.

If your saying that you can show positive reading up to 90 days. I wouldn’t risk it! Knowing Thailand if you test positive even with that piece of paper they will stick you in the hospital and quarantine you and with your expense! I cancel or reschedule your flight for after your 90 days . Now that’s my advice . You can take your chances but if it were me I wouldn’t.

I am not worried about it as I am living in Thailand now and I have the funds . Just my retirement income alone covers 3 times what they are asking for. I just think it’s stupid because people that wants to retire now in Thailand will think twice. It’s a lot of money for most people but I guess Thailand wants only the rich or High So to retire here. If I didn’t purchased a place already I would move to Belize 🇧🇿 that was my second choice

if it’s true then I would think the main Thai Embassy in Washington DC would have change its requirements already . I believe it once it’s announced!

I checked US website in Thailand Embassy in LA and in Washington DC it’s still the same . 800,000 baht or a month in income. Stop the fake news .
