thanks for your honest reply - it is a very hard decision to make. It’s scary to think our insurance wouldn’t cover this - again something we will need to investigate further. I just can’t imagine how awful it would be to spend Christmas quarantined in a hospital and to miss out on a family get together on one of the islands. It is such a horrible situation to be in 😢

this is my worry too. We are flying to Thailand in Dec with 2 children - both unvaccinated under 11yrs. One child has just got Covid last week 😫 but will be fine by the time we go (so long as the other one doesn’t get it too!). We are intending to get a certificate of recovery for my son but I am concerned he might get a positive PCR either before we fly or when we land. There is so little info online and I don’t know whether the certificate of recovery would override the PCR result. If you find anything out, please let me know 🙏🤞 and I’ll do the same.
