Stephen Green If you're 100% legal all the expats I know say " I have no money , I go police station " . He's not writing you a ticket & waves you away
Martha's Vineyard I wouldn't call it a scam . Having up to date documents & statements makes perfect sense because if you were to go to an in country Immigration office for +180 days extension you need the 500,000k requirement + new up to date supporting documents . So entry points & local immigration are obviously nearly aligned on requirements. Explains why nearly everyone skips out of the country
Martha's Vineyard It makes perfect sense that one should be able to demonstrate , if asked by an IO that you still meet the conditions of when the visa was issued
Brook Powers I thought both DTV & Non O visa fall under the remit of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs .
On its inception widely promoted by TAT to encourage Workcation & soft power applicants .(many under 50 ) to stay up to 180 days , exit & return or immigration extension. . Nobody at the time said "You can't live here "
We can all now put the cart before the horse & say it's a tourist visa or reference opening accounts when many did open Thai bank accounts & they were subsequently closed or now have restricted use allowing transfers in & ATM withdrawal
GiftedTulip3061 Best of luck & hope you are reunited with your pets soon .Under stress I probably would have answered questions as they were put to me as you did . Reading real experiences can make one wiser after the event & not reality
I think we all react differently when under stress & in a pressure situation .I hope personally I would go straight for my financials and show I had remote income and was not illegally working in Thailand .
You appear to have accessed your phone & financials after the interview had irrevocably broken down & the IO's decision already made
I've read numerous posts saying they waited 2-3 weeks . It's peak time for visa applications & I would think work processing load would have increased ten fold given the publicity regards scrutiny by immigration of one's previous travel history this year . Seems logical they would date prioritise
Not sure if following on from your previous post you think this gives you any grounds , having stayed in Thailand 184 days in calender year & considering a fifth visa exemption entry
