Thanks Garrett. I don’t know how the consulate in DC will react since I showed a plan trip of 120 days in my visa request. I have not bought my plane tickets yet so I can adjust to a shorter trip but I don’t know what they will do considering there were no questions about a Thai bank account in the visa request.
Yes I know that. I hope it’s not as difficult as the e-visa. I am struggling with uploading the documents as my iPhone photos are difficult importing into my computer
Thank you, for clearing that up. I assume that I would only need the visa for myself. I will have to look at the Coe requirements as I assume both of us have to get that. I got so confused about the visa stuff that I haven’t learned about the Coe requirement.
a long time ago, we used her US passport because she would have a stamp in her passport showing that she left here(US) and if she used her Thai passport to enter Thailand, then she would also have to leave Thailand using her Thai passport. Then, when she got back to the states, she would have to use her US passport to get in. Her US passport would then show her leaving the US but not arriving anywhere. She would have to use the US passport to get back in the US as she would need to show she has a right to be here. I tried to get clarity back then but was unable so we just continued to just use US passport. Does this make sense?
