I actually got nearly 8 years out if a 5 year thanks to lockdowns. I wasn't old enough for a retirement visa at the time so it was my only option. We rescued and helped over 250 and cats in that time so yes it was worth every penny.
that I cannot answer. The only requirement I know is that the deposit is shown to have come from overseas if you're applying inside the country for a Non O from a tourist visa. That's I am flying back to the UK tomorrow. I have lived here 9 years and moved out money many years ago to Thailand. So I cannot show a foreign deposit as the money is already here in Thailand
then yes they will ask for it transferred from overseas but again they may depend on the office you use, your previous visa and how long you have been in Thailand.
I am not sure how many arrive in the country daily but it must be a few thousand. Yesterday just 36 tested positive. I am not sure they can keep up this nonsense for much longer. Especially when it's running rife in the country already. Everyone will be exposed to it at some point.
