5-15 days? The last 2 yrs ,my applications were sent to the Ottawa Canada Thailand Embassy E-Visa website 5-6 weeks prior to my flight departure. Both time I had to cancel and rebook. It need much improvement .The last time the Embassy called me at home to ask Re the date of departure,I informed the caller that I had cancelled the day prior due to not yet approved/received E-Visa,she said we are just now looking at your application (That told me they had totally F—-ed up.Application had been sent 5-6 weeks prior, hence the phone call.(They NEVER contact you at all (only email)unless other info required. When I stated this is the second yr this has happened She said ‘well’ just book another flight.Cost me $600:00 extra each yr to cancel/rebook.
The E-Visa is causing problems worldwide due to late processing and request for documents already sent, it’s causes flight cancellation and additional cost to rebook flights.Personal experience.
