Make sure if it's a reel that you reel it all out to prevent overheating and the cable to melt.
Edit just read the full post and you would be better off paying the spark and getting a new socket added .. running high wattage equipment from an extension lead is definitely not recommended and make sure the lead is suitably sized to carry the load you are using ...and 100% reel out the extension lead..
I agree and think it's a win win for them, if we like it and stay longer we pay tax as well as help keep paying money into the economy when we go out to bars, restaurants and so on ..
I think they are also hoping if you stay for 180 days or more then you'll be liable to be taxed I believe..so could mean a tax return. .so they might win that way
there is not a lot of clear info on this , and nothing asked about having to show it again , but seem some other reports saying you need to keep it in ...but nothing official.
Basically my visa just said 5 years multiple entry
asked when I was due to arrive and what flight and when leaving again (don't know why). But never asked for proof .. asked for address but not for proof ...only all the basics you see on the adverts for it
