Sorry if this is a silly question, I've been looking at the page and trying to learn as much as I can about the visa system and it seems pretty confusing although all the great questions and answers are helping... so my Q...I am planning on coming over to Bangkok on the 29th for 2 days before flying onto Samui for 7 weeks.. I got a single entry visa done in Glasgow 2 days ago for my visit.. I believe this covers me for 60 days..

On the visa I put my hotel in Bangkok but when I arrive at Samui I am renting a villa for the remaining time.. Do I or the person I am renting the villa from need to contact and let immigration know I am staying there. TM30

Thanks and great group.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the need to report a change of address to immigration after arriving in Thailand on a single entry visa, specifically regarding their stay in Samui after Bangkok. They have a single entry visa for 60 days but are uncertain if their villa rental in Samui necessitates a TM30 address notification.
