And this year for the first time they wanted proof of the SOURCE of my US income for the monthlt transfers! And they wanted to see the 800,000 in the bank for 3 months before AND after the extension date!

But it's easy to update the bank book the same day as your IMM app-ointment. Just make a 100 TB deposit or withdrawal!

I believe you have to apply for an "O" once you arrive in the Kingdom, which is good for 60 days, the apply for a one year extension based on retirement, marriage, etc.

I know what he said. I commented because when I got my O-A in America about three tears ago, I had a "use by" date. I think it was six months from the issue date but maybe only three months. It may be different now, but I don't think it would be different between Thai Consulates in UK vs USA. Just trying to be helpful.

I believe you will see a "use before" date on your O-A visa. When you enter the Kingdom the one year starts.
