So if there is 6 months left on my passport when applying for the extension the extension will only be stamped for 6 months ? If i were to apply for a new passport at my embassy in that time would i then apply for a new 1 year extension based on the new passport ?
Yes but thats in Thailand and i dont agree with 30 % , It's still cheaper than most western countries , even with inflation. But inflation is world wide not just in Thailand so while prices are going up in Thailand so they are everywhere . The way you wrote it , you are saying that its more expensive to live in Thailand than in your home country . I went for a ride around Nai Harn and Rawaii a few months ago and i was really surprised to see a Condo complex at Nai Harn ( big ugly orange buildings ) that i had never noticed before . Surprised the bejesus outta me. Fortunately they are tucked away a little out of sight amongst the trees . But a sad reminder of what is happening on the island.
