if your Dad fulfills the financial requirement and the need for a yearlong health insurance for Thailand, for applying to the 1-year Non-Imm-O/A visa . . he can be admitted for a yearlong stay without the need of leaving or doing a border run. That's moire than the 90 days he can get from a tourist visa

my buddy in Bangkok has never filed a 90-day report in 26 years. . .but now it seems Immigration is enforcing it, no matter what. He was invited to pay the 2000 THB fine. And this after 26 years of never reporting . . . . you can maybe imagine how pissed off he was 😊

if you need to buy time in order to season 400,000 THB in the bank for two months for applying to the Non-Imm-O based on marriage to a Thai, then get the 60-days family visit extension. You can use but only one time per entry stamp. From thiis extension you are allowed to go for the extension of stay based on thai wife. From the covid19-extension you cannot

your GF needs a POA from the landlord, a copy of the landlord's housebook and ID card, both copies signed by the landlord, her ID card and her rental contract. She must accompany you to Immigration where you can file the TM30 in the landlord's name

you should hurry up. You need the bank letter of guarantee from the branch where you hold an account, you need to apply for the extension at the Immigration where you have registered your residence under the TM30. This seems to be on Ko Samui , and NOT in Pattaya, as far as I understand your post. You are staying in the wrong spot right now! You can only apply for the extension in Pattaya (Jomtien Immigration) if you change your place of residence to a Pattaya address and file a new TM30 ASAP. And Good Luck in getting the Bank letter (guarantee over 2 months of 800K) at a Pattaya branch

well, he needs to be over 50 years old for a retirement extension. We don't know his age.

does he really HAVE TO BE divorced, to change the reason from marriage to retirement? I thought one can do this any time, as long as he fulfills the financial requirements (2 months seasoning of 800K THB)

worst case is, they give you "application denied and 7 days to leave the country" stamp. I do not recommend going into overstay

you don't have much choice . . . . you should give it a try, visit Immigration on Thursday and try to cancel your ED just by yourself. And apply for the 60 days covid extension right after

does your University contract not lead much further than May 31? I guess you can use the same documents you used for your first 90-days application, if the date on the documents is carrying you further into this year
