be advised, as a German you can enter visa-exempt, receive 45 days admitted, spend 15 days in quarantine, and can extend for 30 more days. You also have the choice to apply for a 60-days single entry tourist visa, which you can extned for 30 more days. . . . . the ability at the moment for tourists and others , to extend the stay beyond , by applying to the 60-days Covid109 extension, might be limited regarding on how long the Covid extensions will be handed out
Then there is no guessing. For the 90-days report she can visit Immigration up to 15 days before or 7 days after the date which is stamped into the receipt. Just follow what this receipt says, and she won’t be fined again
this is wrong . . he only needs insurance for the period left to the date his extension will expire. As he intends to leave after being issued the extension, and spend some time abroad before he re-enters with the valid extension, I presume it will not be a full year any more to the date the extension will expire
I got 14 extensions stamped, and they all expire and begin on January 4th. However I have read that somebody lost one day when he was issued the extension, and upon questioning was told by the Immigration officer that's because February counts one day less every four years. Not kidding!
you are right, although he didn't mention it. However, he still lost the days between June 7th and June 22nd. He could have applied closer to June 22nd. The 60 days Covid19 extension start on the day of application. Just as a reminder to other readers of this group
well, you "lost" days on your admitted stay by missing out the normal 30-days extension one can apply for with a 60-days Tourist Visa, first, and apply for the 60-days Covid19 extenion closer to the date of July 28th, the day the current Covid19 action is finished
