I know they can be a pain, but if they were not there all the people without forms, without forms filled out, without a clue, etc would all be in line inside! 🙂
Did you have an appointment? I did for my last visit and was told (by the first check-in station) to skip the document check and go inside. My appointment confirmation was in lieu of the ticket.
The 60 days you’re hearing about is actually 90-30 because you must have 30 days or fewer left on your non o visa before applying for the extension. BUT some offices allow 45 days or fewer. So you may or may not have enough time. Where are you?
Yes. That’s why I was clarifying the OP comment. I also learned if the copied document is small you should sign across the bottom corner of it and not at the bottom of the page. And never too close to the bottom because they put a stamp around it.
