If it happens will they announce it and give a (let's say) 30 notice.. or , for example, you plan to fly to Thailand in 7 days and by the time you arrive they have charged it overnight and you only get a stamp of 30 days ..

It's reassuring to know that one still gets 60 days. If they change it to 30 days I do hope they will give a decent notice, like a 30 day notice..
