There is an International Driving Permit issued by you home country which basically translate you home licence into English. You can use it in counties other than your own in conjunction with your national licence. I have never heard of an international driving licence.

Your International Driving Permit is valid for 12 m,nths. By Thai law. you can only use it for three months after you arrive in the Kingdom. By Thai law, after you have been here for three months, you need a valis Thai licence.
