I also do Savannakhet for multi o visa marriage based and documents I submit at consulate are application form. 2 photos..original marriage certificate.with copy front and back. wife's IC and Housebook copys both signed and 5000 baht fee you can submit on Wednesday and get a ticket to pick up after 2pm on Thursday ...my Laos visa on entry costs 1500 Thai baht it's pretty straightforward never had any prob. plus Wednesday should be quiet anyway if you have any doubts there's a small cafe opposite consul were somebody can check your stuff but really no need to

yes mate I retired 4 years ago and my previous. Visas based on marriage I got in UK since then looked at all the options available and this one is the best for me I like to do my 90 days at Mae Sai and travel to Savannakhet at my leisure. all at my own pace and it's enjoyable...long may it last...if not just go to plan B Ahaaaa

Works perfectly for me on my non o multi marriage based visa do my 90 days in out at Mae Sai. for extension and visa renewal in Savannakhet. had no problems last 4 years
