How can I transfer my NON-O visa extension from an old passport to a new British passport in Thailand?

I received a new British passport and went to Phayao immigration to transfer non o visa extension from old passport as it still has 6 months to run no problems took. 90 minutes quite surprised no Embassy letter needed

The British embassy no longer issue such letters. Immigration are aware of such so will transfer stamps without the need for one.
