I got stopped at BKK airport in September flying in from Vietnam. My tourist visa had expired and I was entering again on a visa exemption

It was just a struck of luck the supervisor who was called over was a reasonable guy it could have gone tits up 🙏

You will definitely get questioned at the airport or land border why you are entering Thailand again on what immigration call a “Holiday Visa” ie visa exemption or another tourist visa

Thai immigration are getting extremely strict on people staying long term without the relevant visa

Talk to a visa agent in Bangkok or Pattaya they will help you jump the hurdles
