Non Imm goes through the same protocols, at least with Chiang Mai immigration it is. That includes all the paper work and they will not listen to Ground circumstances as delayed explanations!

this is definitely in the same protocol without amnesty. Just completed on 8th April with Chiang Mai immigration on Ed visa and the usual 500baht a day over stay composition applies.
