Kamren Barlow I had to share because it was so ridiculously easy. I have never been through any immigration, including coming home to my own country that was easier. Mai pen Rai lives on in Chiang Mai. Ha ha ha
then there is my recent entry into Chiang Mai with no visa or return flight. Visa on arrival. The two women working the customs desks were laughing and talking with each other. I’m not even sure they looked at me. They certainly didn’t ask me any questions. They were too busy having fun. Just a quick stamp and waved me right through to continue their conversation. Ha ha ha.
you can’t. And you shouldn’t get your security deposit back. It’s not the landlord’s concern that you messed up your immigration stuff. The landlord deserves to keep the deposit because he took the apartment off the market for you.
Lynnette Munoz I don’t know. That was my whole question. It is exactly the same. You show up with no visa, you get 60 days, you can push it to 90. If you go through all the trouble of going to some embassy and getting a visa, it’s not necessary, and you still get the same amount of time. So what’s the difference? Tony Morgan explained it well, but there’s no actual difference in your experience
I still don’t get this. Can we get some remedial help in here? Ha ha ha. What is the difference between getting a 90 day Visa exemption on arrival from a Western country and going to some other country and going through some sort of visa application process? It’s not the same thing?
