I'm also planning a back up plan of visa exempt but I don't wanna attempt a visa run at 60 days so I really hope I get my visa or I'll have to go home at 60 with a new flight.
I saw this coming and immediately moved my flight back to 24 days from the day I applied, hope it was enough.
I just looked at my confirmation and it says nothing about the test and go package I bought on the receipt, I'm curious if that's gonna give me a problem. Only curious, not stressed, I won't allow the Thai government to stress me out.
The keep your covid out of my country mentality was fine in the early stages of the pandemic, but at this stage with the level of infections so low and so many vaccinated now it's completely asinine.
Of course I understand if I wanna get back to Thailand that's the way it is, but it's still idiotic.
Insurance is all that's needed with your airline vetting your policy to make sure it meets your destinations coverage requirement, if you do happen to get sick with covid we're not paying for your treatment.
There's no argument to the contrary, end of story.
I had a friend make headway contacting @thaiconsular on line app, the person took her info and told her he forwarded it to the officers processing TP and a few hours later she recieved the QR code.
If your back is against the wall be polite and relentless you'll get it on time imo
I sent a bank statement with my address on it, and what's so hard about figuring out the 2nd one, take a picture of you holding your visa open to info page, brush your hair first though, they are tough on hygiene issues
