Can I use an Agoda booking for the Thai Pass, or must I book directly with the hotel?
Having trouble communicating directly with hotels on Test and Go packages - not to mention horrible delays in response on reservation inquiries, lack of complete information, won't answer questions, etc. And now, I'm down to the complete wire needing this done asap. Question: is it really unacceptable to do an Agoda booking and upload that? Has anyone had success on Thai Pass with a third party booking platform, or is it all done directly with the hotel?

Went direct with hotel, no problems. Last time I used agoda and had an issue it was almost impossible to speak to an agent.

My biggest hurdle and mistake was trying to book a hotel via Website from Thai Government - Hope it Helps / 🙇

I think it comes down to the specific hotel, and how they are used to communicating. Also, from my Sandbox experience, the hotel seems to have to have the cash in hand/account before things progress. Not sure how they get paid through the 3rd party sites. It may take a day or so longer for them to get their $$$.

I used Agoda but as soon as I received the Agoda confirmation email I emailed the hotel. They took about 12 hours to reply but their reply included their booking reference and stated inclusion on Transfer, PCR test etc. So I screenshot their email and used for TP. It was accepted and I received the TP QR.

Agoda etc is fine but you'll need the hotels booking confirmation number in most cases, not the booking agents booking number.

I used Hotel Clover Asoke ... worked nicely for 7 days. At checkout saw many expats leaving after test in 1 day. Pengiun Gaez is the staff who helped me get it done. Kavintra is her name.

I booked through Agoda, first hotel was prompt but I wasn’t satisfied, cancelled and rebooked and didn’t get an email for almost 24 hours….likely they are a bit swamped and also +12 hours probably didn’t do me any favors.

Thanks...yep, already on with calling everyone which is moving things along better, however, I don't think they're very used to handling reservations by phone, so each one asks me to send an email, then I'm right back where I started. But I'm most interested to hear if you then got your Thai Pass with an Agoda reservation??Jared **********

well the hotel sent me my confirmation but some of the spots weren’t filled out, like my passport number but I submitted it anyway and my Agoda confirmation and got my Thai pass last night. At least over the phone you can ask questions and initiate even if it’s finished through email

Use their 'Line', I'm talking with 3 at a time without a problem. All offering immediate confirmation after payment. Theorie Bangkok, Metro Point Bangkok, etc.,
