ORIGINAL POSTER
Why are you guys so quick to close comments on a post when the next person could offer valuable information ? Today a post appeared on my feed about staying longer than 180 days on exemptions and tourist visas.

Bob posted the final word and closed comments. The final word being "I dare someone to show me a law that says you can't stay longer than 180 days on exemptions or visas". He knows damn well the laws mean shit when it comes to people coming and going that are apparently living in Thailand, they can and will cut your exemption status off and theres no law saying they can do that. Closing comments just makes no sense unless a post blows up with a big pissing match.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The author questions the quick closure of comments on a post about staying longer than 180 days on exemptions and tourist visas in Thailand, arguing that valuable information could still be shared. They express frustration with the moderation practices that may limit discussion, especially when the topic pertains to complicated legalities surrounding visa statuses.
