But I could use a Covid extension to gain more time ??? ( as in hopefully the entry requirements / Thailand Pass etc are less onerous come April than February , if I have to exit and reenter again to apply for the non O )

(Or apply for a non oa which can only be done from your home country )
i know this thanks ,I actually have the 5 year Thai Elite ,which expires next month ,and as I'm over 50 now I think the non O is sufficient for my needs
Well others have pointed out to you it's possible as they themselves have done it - what more do you want ,you seem very naive ,perhaps Thailand is not for you đ
