I meant visa exempt, which we're entitled to so indeed no visa required.

@Lynnette ******
Thanks, yes that's what I mean - visa on arrival or whatever it's called.

No, I haven't touched it since 2019, it's in a separate account gaining a bit of interest.

I didn't use that option either in 2019 when I sent the money, and on my 2-3 previous visa applications they just accepted the bank letter that I have had the 800k in my account since X date. It's obvious from my record that I haven't used an agent and that the money is mine as I sent way more than that to buy a house, so I suspect they've found an obstacle and are just angling for a payment.

I used Wise but I did these transfers in 2019 so the option wasn't available then as I recall.

Yes seriously, but congrats on knowing it for years, awesome.

May not be conflicting but may well be out of date. Regulations change quicker than, particularly government, websites get updated. So it's wise to view the government website then come somewhere like this to confirm people's recent experience.

I see. An odd selection of countries, they are the smaller countries of Europe but then Ireland isn't included.

Yes, some nationalities get 15 days free but they're mostly ASEAN and Japan, you appear Western so I'm surprised you got that. Free?

Thanks. Followed that up online, much better organised now it seems. $50 for most Western passports.
