ORIGINAL POSTERGood day everyone. I hope someone here can help me. I moved to Thailand with my 2 kids. I work for a company here so I have my non b visa and work permit now and the agency is processing my 1 year visa. However the agent asking me 24000 thb per kid for Non-o transfer + visa extension for 1 year, so for 2 kids 48000 thb. It's a big amount and besed on my research in Google it should be much lesser. Any advice or help is very appreciated. Thank you

How old are your kids? Isn’t there a rule that says 15 and under are not subject to visa enforcement rules so they can stay as long as they want in thailand without a proper visa?

my 9 and 11 year olds enter on visa exempt and overstay years at a time. They second check me at immigration leaving, reminding me that they are overstay and it would be better if they got proper visas, but that there's no penalty. I say ok. And we do it all over again the next time we go abroad to visit family. I can confirm that it's never caused a problem.Reply to

Your kids don't need a visa until 14 in fact, so paying that amount is crazy. Better to have a visa I know but DIY if you want to get it.

no offence but if you are don't want to pay that much money then u do it yourself. Agents make their living out of lazy farangs who aren't even able to blow their own nose. Do your researches on internet and you can solve your issues for a fraction of the money they asked otherwise you open your wallet and pay what they ask u

baht is more than the agent would earn in a month. You provide the documents to them anyway , all they do is fill out application form and deliver paperwork to immigration. Which they do in bulk, not one at a time. If you are prepared to pay that much for someone to do maybe 2 hours work tops, then the other option is to take a day off work and do it yourself for 1900 baht per child.And are you happy handing over your passport and your children's passports to total strangers for as long as it takes? They normally make you wait until they have a pile of them before going to imm themselves. Immigration always return your passport immediately if you apply in person.Alireza ****

because an agency is processing her EOS for her WP and until she gets that she can't get dependancy visas issued, sounds like the agency will lump everything together and do at the same time...Reply to
