Can your kids stay based on your retirement visa? Actually, it'll be the 3 month pre-retirement non-immi visa for now. I'm aware they cannot overstay in principle but would prefer to avoid that. A 5-year old.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, your children can stay in Thailand based on your retirement visa or pre-retirement non-immigrant visa. They can obtain a dependent visa as long as they are under 20 years old. You can apply for this dependent visa once you receive your 1-year extension.
