Still don't know why so many say it's hard to do.?

Even my Thai partner tells her friends they talk rubbish now.

It's about 15 minutes of on line plus print it out.

Of course the few happy snaps help.

But proof of savings, Job, family reasons to return, it's minor...

The easiest way to do this is write a letter saying you sponsor the person and are responsible for the costs of travel and support.

That's it... not compicated.

Pay the 4700 baht including biometrics.

Did the last one four weeks ago.

They gave me a multiple entry 600 class valid for up to 3 months each entry, and one year.

We leave Melbourne on a cruise next week.

Then back to oz.

Then LOS.

BTW.

UK is just as easy.

Took 10 minutes on line.

Sits there now until I set a date to attend Bangkok and pay the fee.

I've heard the tales of woe.

Paid 50,000 and still not get.

Need to know how many times you do boom boom. Need to put 50,000 in my bank account tilac.

Agents get NO priority here.

So save the 25,000 or 30,000 and do it yourself.

You may have to get a couple of documents translated and verified.

But honestly, it's not hard...

More than happy to post a copy of a check list I put together..

But the sponsorship or responsibility letter is pure gold....

Never been asked.

Have used TR for years up to getting my retirement extension.

But never asked or challenged for return flights. Out of Thailand.

It's a case of if the face fits I think?

Genuine entrants should have no issues.

If you look suspect... haha. Lol.

Asean is a little bit different than the Asia Pacific rim.

APEC now comprises 21 member economies: Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Republic of the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Chinese Taipei (Taiwan), Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam.

You can still get this.

From any of the nember countries if you can show a work need.

It was brilliant for me when working in China and Japan and Korea.

When i was working full time.

I was fortunate enough to have the APEC card.

90 days priority clearance for 20 countries in the Asia Pacific rim.

Work allowed too.

USA and Canada are now on board too.

You can still get it if you are working.

And adding financial benefits to the region.

Its good for 10 years now.

But harder to get.

$200 one time payment.

Worth looking into if anyone is interested in and works as well as having Thailand interests.

Sadly i couldn't get my up line management to sign off in time.

Before i was packaged out.
