Your question should be : how many times in one year can you enter on the “Visa Exemption status?”

I think that you have been visiting “Visa Exempt”,

Thailand limits how many times per year for using the Visa status

ATM ‘s work fine

Choose the one with the lowest transaction fee ( the yellow ones, if I remember correctly, do not let the ATM convert , rather choose allowing your credit card provider convert and since there is a fixed fee, take the maximum withdrawl allowed?

P..S all ATM have an English option , sometimes the button is hard to find

I believe that he actually is looking for a way to get 2 step authentication from his North American Banks , Credit card providers and al other services that require authentication including govt websites

This cannot be done with Airalo ( which I have used ) or any other eSim

You need to use the sim from home , banks use this as the first line of fraud prevention

Their software detects VOIP and other types of internet and refuses to send any authentication codes to them.

SKYPE was the only thing to work sometimes , but not with more sophisticated systems

SKYPE is no longer in business ,it shut down May 2,2025

Not exactly but probably the easiest way to see the

Point

In most of the world , phones are not necessarily locked to one carrier and can have more than one SIM card or equivalent eSIM or a combination of both

Allowing the subscriber to add another SIM for the past decade or so, but…

Some carriers ( and by that I mean all carriers in USA lock still lock any phone that you buy directly from them )

They will usually unlock your phone, but often it takes x number if business days … blah blah blah. During which time you spend $10.00+ per day. In roaming fees if you answer an SMS or phone call
