the bank thing , the rules around it are that you can’t open an account unless your are on a valid long term visa ( meaning you get a 1 year stamp) when they say tourist visa they basically say or group tourists / tourist visa into one basket because of the 60
Day exempt etc.
The elite visa isn’t a non o visa,
It’s a tourist visa exact the same as a the DTV only
Difference is you get 1 year stamps, you can stay in Thailand for 5 years straight( up
To 20 years if you want and being as it is a valid long
Term visa for opening a bank you can obviously open a bank.
So I would suggest before you go out making your self look bad for world to see , save your self some embarrassment and educate your self.
The Thai Elite Visa, now known as the Thailand Privilege Card, is a long-term Thai tourist visa offering stays of 5 to 20 years for a one-time membership fee, providing exclusive benefits like VIP airport services, personal assistance for immigration tasks, and discounts at resorts and golf clubs, without the income or investment requirements of other Thai long-term visas. It is a multi-entry, hassle-free option for foreigners wanting extended, convenient stays in Thailand, with no requirement to leave the country every 90 days
I seen someone else asking if they could get Botox or fillers 🤣.
They should be thinking more along the lines of , diabetes, dialysis, maybe Invisalign 🤷
Physiotherapy etc.
The other key thing I’ve seen with other medical DTVs is they generally have to visit Thailand first to get the full medical treatment plan, and any doctor who is in any sort of position to issue documentation for a DTV won’t do it off of a phone consultation or email.
Next people will be using(trying) to use broccoli 🥦 prescriptions for medical DTV 5555
Anonymous participant yeah that fair mate , like I said I’d just apply for your soft power application you should be fine ( for context I applied with an Aussie passport)
Anonymous participant yeah of course they can ask for copies of every page of your passport , have you had a marriage visa before?
My point is I applied and I’m also locally married and I didn’t show them anything to do with a marriage.
Sure if they ask I’d explain it, but until then I would just apply as you only as a soft power application, then if they ask id supply the other information.
Rather then trying to give them the information if they are not asking for it , hope that make sense
