its a heads up for people who use the border runs scheme wishing to stay here for more then 90 days as the IDP is only good here for 90 days. Personally its just a good idea to get a license here if people wish to stay longer then 90 days, meaning if they do 60 days and then run the border come back over and over again. Just smarter to get the temp 2 year license then face a fine up to 2000 baht and or 1 month in jail

The written test is only 50 questions and is easy

You can but I would recommend airport

DTV visa are being denied bank account due to fraud and abuse

No income requirement in DTV just the savings .. income comes with other visa

I didnt leave for a better im here to learn I own property back home check your self. You are the one advocating abusing a loophole that an IO can stop at will. no im not confusing anything and that is why people are being stopped from border runs cause random IO are saying enough you are too stupid to see that honor and integrity is universal. This isnt my issue you were not raised to be a respecting himan being. If somekne wishes to keep doing border runs thats on them. Ive seen many posts in this group where people are being told this is the laldt time they can use visa exempt after x amount of times. I Been retired since i was 37 and planned my stay here for a few years and finally made it over prepared. You are confusing your own selfless needs cause you and others got away with abusing border runs cause immigration didnt care. Now they seem to care. My point is pay the fees If someone wishes to stay here longer period of time and integrity is doing the right thing legally and morally which means learn thailand laws and follow them. You sir are confused with greed and too stuck up

your profile says you are retired you can more than afford the cost to be here. Im retired as well and did my planning before I came here and executing that plan. We are guest in their house respect it. Intgerty is doing the right thing legally and morally.
