again doesn't matter how smart you are if the IO says no it ends stop abusing the system and dancing in the Grey areas. People like you abusing a privledge messes things up for people who do it right and want to enjoy visa exempt.

If you are here to be a tourist then be one. If you are here for long term stay then pay for the visa. That simple called having honor and integrity

until you run into an IO who denies you cause you did it too many times in their opinion, hence my advice get a year visa with multiple entries removes that worry

An IDP is only honored on thailnd for 90 days. If you plan to stay longer helps to have a license.

See if they have a facility near you in Bangkok they can get you in quicker then transportation office

Just pay for a multiple entry tourist visa and nothing to worry about

If you leave the 28th you dont have to report

its a personal choice which one to do just make sure you have met the requirements for DTV meaning the money in savings for a few months. DTV must be applied for outside thailand.
