yeah, just converted it (sometimes I get confused with USD and EUR) and 2000 THB is about 63 USD, so 18 USD more than the 45. But everybody says, bring 40 USD, so I brought 40 - not 45. And paying the THB was way easier than making a big fuss about it at the border.

they didn't accept my documents. The DTV officer refused 3 times to check my documents. Then the lady - who isn't responsible - told me to come back a 5th time and maybe they might check the documents and maybe they might give me an extension. But no guarantee. And at some point, I need to make travel plans. Especially, as I am ligit owner of the DTV Worcation, which means: I am working full time.

I had a house with 2 mango trees & 1 banana in Phuket. Was lovely, but also a lot of work. Especially in the hot season I spent 2 hours a day watering the plants 😅

I'm taking a nice motorcycle trip to Laos 🏍️ In this way, it's not a big deal. I just dislike the arbitrariness and wanted to let people know. Maybe someone else is considering an extension in Chiang Mai and is happy to safe some time and nerves 😅

, I was at the immigration near the airport. And I do not mind if they ask for additional documents, but it was so obvious that he was just looking for something to deny the renewal. Before he asked for the bank confirmation, he told me that visa issued in Laos are not accepted for renewal at all. And when I pointed out that mine is from Cambodia, he wold me that Cambodia is sketchy, too.
