Myron Odermatt, this is the main reason I am waiting till next year to go back. Everything needs to calm down before I will try. Haven't seen my Thai family close to two years.
, it was a rhetorical question and I do know the logic, but do other countries go to such lengths? Pictures of you and your wife in various rooms of your house, etc. Come on, simplify things and don't react to every possibility.
My old process was to obtain a Non-immigrant O multiple entry visa from a Thai Consulate here in the US. No need to show money in Thailand. The visa was only good for 90 days as stated, but with a multiple entry, I would just drive up to the Laotian border and enter Lao. I would them loop back into Thailand for another 90 day stamp. Hopefully the land borders open soon so that I can try to continue this process.
The past 15 years I have gotten a Non-immigrant O multiple entry visa in the US every year. It was good for 90 days and then I would go up to the Laotian border and turn right around and come back into Thailand and receive another 90 day stamp. Now that the land borders are closed, how would I obtain another 90 day stamp? Would I go to the local immigration office? Are the land borders going to open in November?
