yes, but what I said is, the visa is only good for ONE entry (single entry visa class) so the visa itself will become invalid for further use after he entered Thailand. He then is in Thailand on a "90-days stay permit", and this stay permit can get extended for one year, if he fulfills the requirements. A visa cannot get extended. Buriram Immigration now uses the correct terminology, they don't "extend visas" any more. They fully correctly only extend "stay permits" 😎
the 3-month visa VALIDITY starts to count on the date of issue. The 90-days STAY PERMIT starts the day you enter Thailand. The visa must be used within the period of the validity, and it will become invalid upon entry
there is only one thing that starts to count when he enters Thailand, and this is not the visa. When he enters, he will receive a 90-days stay permit, and the visa itself will become invalid
I guess as soon as you have submitted the TDAC form, you will receive an instant email confirmation. The TDAC forms will not be checked or cross examined by anyone
The ability to fill out the online TDAC form will start on April 28th.
As far as I know the confirmation email is an instant response email, nobody physical will cross check or examine.
From that date on the TDAC system will accept your form submission, as long as your arrival date is May 1st and beyond, but not earlier than 72 hours from your intended arrival

No, I am not wrong, but your knowledge is outdated. Your visa sticker? That was before all Thai embassies and consulates worldwide that still allowed physical applications, turned to the online E-Visa system in January 2025. You don't get a sticker any more. You can't even access the buildings any more, except in a few cases where you have to pay the application fee in cash at the embassy or consulate, or in case you are invited for an interview (which can happen to some applicants for the DTV)
