What is the correct procedure for applying for the TDAC before my arrival in Thailand?

I am attempting to get my TDAC online, arriving in Thailand on Thursday 1st May, 13 days ahead, the system will not allow me to input arrival date beyond 20 April.
I understood that application had to be made more than 3 days before arrival.
Have I got this wrong.

there are a lot of people that are not IT friendly so they will file the TDAC for you,in your case you have a plate of desert as your profile so indeed you need helpAnna *********

I think 🤔 if you don't no how or you don't have a friend or family member to fill in the form there is help at the airport but I'd say 1hr to do it .

I guess as soon as you have submitted the TDAC form, you will receive an instant email confirmation. The TDAC forms will not be checked or cross examined by anyoneKen ***********

i misread the post, thinking it had to be done earlier than 3 days to give immigration time to process it.

I have had the same problem won't let you put arrival date in June saying wrong info. So it looks like you will have to wait until 3 days prior to departure and hopefully nothing goes wrong.

It’s not even a visa. It’s an arrival card. Countries created this so the personal information is already in the system so the immigration officer doesn’t have to do it. Shortening the queues.

It doesn't say before 3 days. It says "within" 3 days. Within=inside of. So from day 3 to zero.

You do have it wrong, almost exactly wrong. It CANNOT be more than 3 days before arrival. You can only choose an arrival date 0-72 hours away. So you fill it in when you are 3 days or less from arriving.

I would just apply just before you go to the airport. The airline may request the QR code to allow you to board your flight.Peter **********

Why would that be? You can still enter without a tdac after 30 April, but you may expect a long queue. 😉Ken ***********

Yes It needs to be done WITHIN 3 days so you are way to early Try 28th or 29th April
