and even if you only want to stay for 90 days maximum, and don't plan to re-enter Thailand after a first stint abroad, you can do so on a 60-days single entry tourist visa. For the single entry, the visa fee is much less than for the multi entry.

@Thomas *******
there was talk about reducing the visa-exempt stay permit from 60 days back to 30 days, but it never happened. What started on May 1st was the requirement to fill out the online TDAC form (Thailand Digital Arrival Card). Right now you still are stamped in visa-exempt for 60 days, and can buy a 30-days extension on Immigration for 1900.- THB

that's what nobody can tell you with certainty. It depends on your previous stamp history and if the border official has a good day or if he got out of the bed in the morning on the wrong foot

There is no official rule on how long you can stay in Thailand and how often you can enter visa-exempt or on a touristic visa. It is up to the sole discretion of a border official. If he thinks you are misusing visa-exempt entries for a longstay in Thailand, he has the right to refuse entry. He can even refuse if you are on a real visa. Your total stamp history of the recent 365 days will be checked. After a refusal, you have been "flagged" in the Central Computer, so you better stay away from Thailand for a few months before you try to enter again, because every Immigration official can see that you have been warned as soon as they scan your passport. Even using a new passport doesn't help

they will stamp your passport and give you the reason, which in most cases is called "Section 12, paragraph 2". enter all info manually first, before you upload a scan of the passport. Switch of autofill (delete all data you entered before or start a new application)

the maximum entry age with AXA could be 75, I only vaguely remember it was 70. You need to check their fine print

but you need to have a contract with before you turn 70 years old, only then it remains renewable every year until you are 99 years old. However the premium will be higher and higher, the older you get!

there is NO MORE 365-days multi entry Non-Imm-O Retirement Visa since October 2023. Only the 90-days single entry version remains obtainable
