have you actually used this? The reason I ask it doesn’t actually give you a ticket and a few reports on another site said the airline can question it. I just don’t want to mess it up . Thanks
I’m guessing the price must be more when it’s a first time visa application. A friend of mine moved to Pattaya , she got a retirement visa with agency . They did everything for her but it cost 29,000 baht plus 5000 for multi entry. The agency even does her 90 day reports and assisted her with getting a condo ( not part of the service ) but just on recommendation of a real estate agent in jomtiem area. She saw the agent on buzzin Pattaya blogs giving advice and contacted them , she recommended it to another friend and he got same service but without multi entry. I will be moving over soon and I intend to use the same agent. English guy Mark and his Thai partner, one stop visa service, not sure where in Pattaya. My friend travels a lot but uses jomtiem as her base, she is from UK originally and found Mark very helpful. I suppose most agents will be ok to use but if you get a personal recommendation then it’s sometimes feels more reassuring.
I see a lot of agents advertising on Facebook and there’s a very informative British guy who is often on buzzin Pattaya you tube blog as a guest giving visa and other advice . He and his Thai wife or partner have run a visa / travel business in Pattaya for a good number of years and prior to this he ran a similar agency in London. His advice on the visa requirements and pitfalls on the blog always seemed to be very clear, informative and measured. I haven’t used his agency but I would definitely consider him when I make the move to Thailand. I agree with some of the posts that agents can be expensive but let’s face it I would rather pay a professional like Him to do it and give me peace of mind and freedom to enjoy myself without having to tackle the complex immigration system with the language and other barriers. Massive respect to the people who do it themselves but I’m lazy and a bit unsure so while I have money and for peace of mind I’ll pay for my visa to be done by an agency. If in the future this practice is questioned I guess there will be another way that this can be sorted out. I love the debate and the poster is correct it could technically be classed illegal but if it’s not broken don’t fix it , let’s worry about what’s happening now and enjoy our retirement.
What if you enter with 60 tourist visa but your return or onward flight is not in 60 days ? And you wish to keep extending Will immigration or airline ask to see a return flight which could be 6 to 8 months away ? Is it risky ?
