People always suggest hiring an agent is ridiculous, but I place visa renewal up there with taxes. If you have your funds in place they are very affordable.

There should really be no need for border runs. Just pay your money and stay. That’s all they want anyway. They complicate everything.

After reading all the comments, having left the States myself for good reasons, and the current administration in charge, it seems like we are all better off in Thailand. If we go abroad it’ll be Europe, Japan, or somewhere civilized.

With the current situation in the States, I don’t feel safe to bring my wife back. Getting a VISA doesn’t guarantee they will admit her once she arrives, or they won’t detain her for no good reason without a trial. If they do it to Canadians and Australians they will do it to anyone.
