How long does it typically take to receive visa approval from the Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh?

I'm also waiting so here's what I've been seeing so far.

Jan 19th - received who applied on Jan 4th

Jan 20th - received who applied on Jan 5th

Jan 21st (today) - received who applied on Jan 5th and 6th

Some of my friends who applied on 6th are still pending approval.

Can I switch to my approved DTV after entering Thailand on a tourist visa?

You need to get out of Thailand and reenter with DTV. I hope there won't be any issue there, because you were required to stay at the location (country) you applied throughout the whole process.

How long does it typically take to get visa approval from Phnom Penh, Cambodia after submission?

I heard those who applied on Dec 30 - Jan 1 got their visas today.

I applied on Jan 7 and still pending approval. Regular process is 10 working days, so the whole process is expected to take 12 - 15 days.

depends where you apply, usually 5 - 10 working days, but could be longer

Can I apply for the DTV visa in Thailand with a sponsorship letter from my employer instead of having 500,000 THB in my own bank account?

I have submitted like that in Cambodia. The application is still 'pending approval' so I am not sure how it will work out.

The company showed its bank statement.
