thanks for your quick respond. I am trying to avoid the hassle (as I read) to deal with thai banks and leave 800,000 bhat for years. I watched a video interview of Thai Ministry Official at FitFac site, he said ANY BANK ACCOUNT INCLUDING USA. According to your respond DTV softcore is easier to avoid local banks.

what is the 60day visa, my understanding was it is 60days visa exemption. Visas are i.e DTV, Elite etc. Only speaking as US passport holder. Please correct me.

thank you for great input. If you have any more information please feel free to share. I had some background as military and retired LEO. Now the many goal is stay in shape while learning some new skills. I am hoping lessons cost be Lil cheaper than US.
