i think he means that if you had to ask that question you may not be the most experienced of travellers. I have personal experience of hospitals in Thailand to the tune of around 50 grand, so yeah, get the travel insurance before you leave and make sure you have a copy of it in your wallet. You really don't want to spend any time in a Thai hospital for the locals.
i have more experience with Thai hospitals than you will ever have. I paid over £50,000 a few years back for a number of operations my fiancee needed after a car crash. The point about insurance is it doesn't matter what the hospitals charge, the insurance covers it. Just accept you were incorrect, you"ve had half a dozen goes at defending your postion and you are STILL wrong. Give it up already 😏
