Wow thanks! I seriously didn’t know that little fact. So when on a non O visa (12 month extension based on retirement) if you travel out of Thailand several times each year then reporting is almost a non-issue!

Exactly what I was thinking but it’s probably too late for the OP. In September I will be applying online from the States for a non O 90-day “retirement” visa. My plan is to do the bank and 12 month extension once back in the kingdom and I’m wondering when does the multiple entry choice need to be made? When applying for the 90 days or when applying for the 12 month extension? The latter is my guess. 🤷

Ah, so I apply online from outside Thailand, receive the visa electronically, and the 90 day period begins when my passport is physically stamped. Great!

Yes, that much I am aware of, thanks. The 90 day period begins the day I re-enter Thailand, right? I mean, not the day the visa is approved I hope. 🤷
