I now have my retirement Visa and I'm within my 90 days before the first report in if I leave the country before then does my 90-day start when I return and then can I report to another immigration office other than the one that I initiated at

I have multiple entries so I can return to the states to finish the business and come back I just need to know if my 90-day check-in starts again when I return and can I change the immigration office

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you leave Thailand on your retirement visa, the 90-day reporting requirement 'stops' until you return. Upon your return, the 90 days will reset to day 1. You can also report at a different immigration office than the one where you registered initially, provided that you have completed the necessary TM30 filing for your stay.

So you have completed your 90 day Non-O visa and now have a 12 month Extension of stay stamp. If so do as Stuart has said.

90 days IN the country. If you leave and aren't in the country 90 days, then it obviously starts over.

You file a report in the province where your latest TM30 has been filed.

The “clock” stops as soon as you leave Thailand and resets to day 1 when you return.

I think you mean resets to what the day count was when departing? I’m trying to learn all these facets myself!

Nope. You only report if you stay 90 consecutive days in Thailand. The clock resets to day one on your return.

Wow thanks! I seriously didn’t know that little fact. So when on a non O visa (12 month extension based on retirement) if you travel out of Thailand several times each year then reporting is almost a non-issue!
