I went to CM Immi last Friday (extension until 30th stamp) and I got a new stamp until 28th Feb.
I only had to turn up personally with my passport, passport photocopies of relevant pages (signed) + TM7 (1 copy) completed + 3 other forms about CO-VID 19 pandemic (completed) and I handed over 1,900 baht. The final steps of waiting for my number to come up around 45 minutes (20 ppl with numbers in front of me) and handing in forms and money and waiting for my passport was another 5-10 minutes.
Western Union via BKK Bank is the best for me. Set up a link between your overseas bank (in my case the UK) and WU. You have to do it online first on the WU THailand website and then physically take document proof, including your passport, to the Robinson Airport (Central) Mall.
Go to the small WU booth/office inside Robinson dept. store and give them the documents.
After that, you can transfer online via the WU Thailand website, only for a 100+ baht fee.
From using this service, I got better rates than I did with TransferWise or XE.com, at least for the last 18 months, unless things have changed.
Are you perfect? Lack of foresight and experience on my part and my employer re. submitting a Non-O B visa application. You don't know the backstory, so why jump in as a troll? Keep your insults to yourself and reflect.
