the website also isn't specific enough unfortunately. It says people in that situation can enter Thailand, doesn't say without quarantine unfortunately. Was trying to find any official text that's more specific, and I couldn't find any.

wow, so I guess the certificate of the recovery doesn't officially help with a positive result in Thailand. At least it isn't automatic nor easy, and sounds like there isn't a clear policy on this situation.

Knowing this, my gf will probably not come.

Thanks for the update! I've seen that official statement you highlighted saying recovered vaccinated people can enter Thailand, but it isn't clear regarding not going to quarantine or hospital if testing positive in Thailand. Other than carrying official copies of documents, is there any official policy on this that we can carry and refer to in case of confusion by anyone that insists or quarantine or hospital stay?

how did this end? Was your husband able to avoid hospital or hotel isolation? My gf is also recently recovered and and wants to visit but is worried about this potential situation. Hope everything turned out well with you 🙏

You're welcome. They also wouldn't process my extension as I have 37 days left on my 60 day tourist visa, asked to come back 3 weeks before expiry 🙏

I'll be in Bangkok then, let's see if it's different there 🙂

Thank you both! So I can go ahead and apply for Thai pass with the Agoda voucher, even before receiving the hotel's final official paper? What about transportation from airport to hotel and PCR booking (in case you entered via Phuket) - did you also submit proof of payment for these two items, or just the hotel booking was fine?
