Update from Phuket airport. Just arrived tonight from Vietnam and they cracking down hard on both non visa and visa holders. I been on my DTV for over a year and i needed to show 20k cash, pictures from my softpower training (muaythai) and they even asked me to call the gym owner to confirm i was still training there. Lucky the owner picked up the call. Was about 20 more people in same room as me and atleast 10 got denied entry and deported. From start to finish was around 2 hours to get my stamp. Be ready with your documents and proof.

We had a medical exemption bc we are covid recovered. However, the Berkeley hotel manager wouldn’t accept the medical exception and forced us all to take another PCR and while we were all negative back home, they are saying my husband is positive and needs to to go a hotel.

Help.

I had emailed the Bangkok hotel our recovery forms, our positive results and 2 negative PCRs from California before from we left home. I had given him and emailed him a copy of all the Thai government screenshots.

He confiscated my recovery certificate, called the police, there was a warrant against us, police raided our hotel in Chiang Mai.

I have attached my emails to the embassy below.

As you can see, the Bangkok police were never told about my recovery certificate.

I’m sure it was just a misunderstanding.

Please have multiple copies of all your papers.

I hope this helps someone avoid confusion and stress.

Absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED Thailand and especially the kind, polite and respect Thai people. The culture is wonderful. We extended our trip and had a wonderful time.

I just want to say thank you all for your help with getting me to Thailand. I landed safely late night on the 26th of September. I am now in ASQ at Arden Hotel in Pattaya, Everything went smoothly and it was all because of all your help and advice. How truly grateful I am to be a part of this group. The next morning, I finally got to meet my girlfriend (from the balcony) for the first time. We are both so happy. Thank you all again!
