I mean a paper pusher. For those few hundred baht extra I won't need to show face and stand in a queue at the embassy. I still have to produce all my documents myself though. I bring them from Thailand, drop them on his desk and next thing I know visa in pasport. I'm using the services of

Why are you guys always in such a hurry.... when I go to Penang I stay a week and make it a holiday. Drop my papers at the agent = 2 minutes. Pick-up a few days after = 2 minutes no stress 😎😎😎

Unfortunately yes. Also, as with e erything in Thailand,... different requirements on additional paperwork vary per province also.... and you might (or not) need a verified translation from your Embassy or Consulate....

From some countries, you can actually convert your drivers' license into a Thai one. But the list is limited and for some countries, there are extra requirements and/or restrictions. Best is just to go to the nearest Transportation Office and check if you qualify.... and get an up to date "to do" list from them.
