You don't hire employees, you don't pay them a sallary. You only pay social security for them. There are accountants who can help with this. Of course this setup is not 100% "how it is meant to be". But there are many people doing it that way. Even more shady: I know someone who pays a woman 5000 Baht a month to be married with him without any other obligations. If you are willing to cross lines there are ways to stay here.

Starting your own business only for visa purposes does not cost you 100k a month. There are ways to do it cheap, much cheaper than the Elite visa.

What I once heard is that they send the passenger list to Thailand before boarding and get a response on that from Thailand.

With a Thai child you can get a non o visa easily, 3 months.

Last years there were many banks not making money but losing money. With the negative interest rate in the EU they only lost money when you had money in your account. And the more money you had there, the bigger their loss.

Who has to pay for this? Putting an ATM somewhere, filling it with cash money every couple of days... Someone has to pay for this.

In many European countries it's the same. You pay if you want to deposit cash and you pay for getting cash from an ATM.
